Substance assessment
Our services
Before new chemicals can be brought to market, they must comply with the stringent criteria of German chemicals legislation. For example, the authorities demand extensive dossiers for registration purposes. As part of the registration and notification procedures for new and existing chemicals, we undertake data searches and reviews of the chemical, physical, ecotoxicological and toxicological properties of a substance, assess the data gaps and optimize the test program to comply with the relevant requirements. We coordinate all the necessary activities, produce a dossier for submission to the authorities and support you through to successful completion of the registration process.
Your advantages
- You improve your planning reliability as a result of the data searches and reviews we use to optimize the test program and schedule.
- You save time and money because we have extensive experience of notification procedures. This results in fewer queries and additional demands from the authorities.
- You gain flexibility because you decide how much work we do for you. We can undertake full chemical registration and product defense processes or contribute parts of these.
Our strengths
You can source all services from a single provider. If necessary, we collaborate with other in-house and external experts and institutions.
We have many years of experience and a wide range of contacts and are highly familiar with the relevant legal requirements. Our work in committees and industrial associations ensures that we are always informed of future developments from an early stage.
In future we will also include the compilation of REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of CHemicals) registration dossiers in our service offering.
