Hazardous substance monitoring
Our services
We use hazardous substance measurements and exposure calculations to monitor whether and in what concentrations hazardous substances are present in the air to which your employees are exposed in the workplace. If the substance concentrations determined or calculated exceed the legally permitted limit values, we suggest ways of reducing exposure. Work area descriptions including a list of exposure-relevant activities, results and qualified findings are summarized in a report. This means that information on working conditions and exposure is still available years later, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
You also protect your employees from substance-related health risks.
Your advantages
- Besides performing measurements, we also use quantitative analytical test methods. We are therefore qualified to determine all substances with a minimum outlay in terms of time and cost.
- We are a one-stop source for all hazardous substance monitoring services. We use the test results to advise you effectively on which protective measures can be taken.
- You are able to comply with legal requirements without having to provide your own personnel or know-how and can therefore focus more effectively on your core competencies.
- Sickness-related absenteeism is minimized, thus reducing the cost of occupational diseases for you as the employer.
Our strengths
We have a wide range of analytical test methods at our disposal, meeting all the needs of a large chemical company. If necessary, we can also develop new methods, e.g. for active ingredients. We are accredited in accordance with Germany’s Hazardous Substances Directive (Gefahrstoffverordnung) as an external analytical laboratory for respirable and alveolar dusts, metals including Cr(VI), organic constituents of dusts, hydrogen halides and other inorganic acids, volatile hydrides, non-metallic oxides, solvents, alcohols, amines, organic acids, nitrosamines and isocyanates (Groups 1, 3, 4 and 5).
