We are responsible for your safety and security in the CHEMPARK. We provide optimal protection for people on the site, and your production facilities and buildings. We not only move into action when something happens, we work constantly to proactively prevent accidents or damage occurring in the first place. We do everything we can to eliminate the possibility of fires, product leakages and any kinds of threat, and, as they can never be completely excluded, we try to be fully prepared for such incidents.

The two main pillars of Site Security within CURRENTA are fire prevention and security. We focus on preventive and operative emergency response as part of the integrated emergency response management system. For all safety and security-related events, we are there to help.

Fire prevention

Emergency response in a CHEMPARK places maximum demands on the company fire department. Even during the planning phase of a new plant, our fire prevention experts examine the relevant safety aspects such as fire protection walls, fire prevention facilities and the correct design of escape routes. They carry out fire inspections, draw up alarm and emergency response plans, check and service fire alarms and extinguishers. The fire department gives its members full training in safety matters, and regularly practices emergency procedures with the workers in the production plants.
In the event of an incident, speed and precision are of the essence. Extinguishing fires, providing the right technical assistance with complex chemical-related incidents, and saving lives and property all require a highly qualified and well-coordinated team with specialized know-how and the necessary technical resources.

Security

The main task of the security staff is to ensure law and order at the CHEMPARK, provide security for the people who work there and support the emergency response team in the event of an incident. Our staff control the entrances at the gates, issue ID cards and protect the production plants.

Safety & Security Control Center

The Safety & Security Control Center is equipped to respond immediately in different threatening situations to avert major damage. This is where all the threats of emergency response come together: emergency calls, alarming the emergency services, coordinating all the measures under the action plan. Our action plans are based on decades of experience with innumerable assignments. The expertise gained from this is prepared as scenarios with the aid of a computer, helping us to ensure fast and specific deployment of the emergency forces so that any risks can be eliminated at source.
